My sole purpose on this earth is to accurately describe my Creator and be His vessel in bringing others to Him. I am here to offer advice, to listen, and to share stories of what He's done for me :)
Be still and know that I’m with you
Be still and know that I am here
Be still and know that I’m with you
Be still, be still, and know
When darkness comes upon you
And covers you with fear and shame
Be still and know that I’m with you
And I will say your name
If terror falls upon your bed
And sleep no longer comes
Remember all the words I said
Be still, be still, and know
And when you go through the valley
And the shadow comes down from the hill
If morning never comes to be
Be still, be still, be still
If you forget the way to go
And lose where you came from
If no one is standing beside you
Be still and know I am
Be still and know that I’m with you
Be still and know I am

When he woke up, he found his mate.
Just rest in God’s presence.
He’ll take care of everything else.

“My heart is filled with bitter sorrow and unending grief for my people, my Jewish brothers and sisters. I would be willing to be forever cursed- cut off from Christ!- if that would save them.” Romans 9: 2-3 (NLT)
Oh, how I long to have Paul’s heart for the lost.

This is so, so, so beautiful to me, like wow.
I refuse to write in my books. I think it’s tacky and in poor taste, not to mention disrespectful in a mistreating kind of way.
But my Bible? That thing is starred, highlighted, underlined, earmarked, and noted in like nobody’s business. That’s because my Bible is a conversation between me and God. It’s not a “pleasure reading”, “fluff” book. It’s living and active. It is God’s voice to me in written form, and I voice my own thoughts about what He’s teaching me back to Him through marking, underlining, and writing dates in my Bible. I love it.
It is so humbling to have people liking/reblogging the things I post, let me tell you. Because it’s not because of me. It’s because God is using me to touch someone else’s life, if even only for the moment they read something I post and decide it’s worth an extra click to share with others.
Maranatha. Soli Deo Gloria!
